Brief Bio
Grace L. Faustino is a Doctoral Candidate in Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences at the University of New Mexico’s College of University Libraries. Her doctoral dissertation, “The Automated Academy: Evaluating the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Administrative Efficiency and Institutional Agility in Public Research Universities,” explores the intersection of organizational theory and emerging technologies, directly informing her work in higher education leadership. Grace holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Learning and Instructional Technology from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics from New Mexico State University.
Bringing this deep academic expertise into practice, Grace serves as the Manager of IT Services within the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) at UNM. In this capacity, she leads a specialized research IT services team that support and enhance research activities across the OVPR Core Units, the Category III Research Centers, and the broader UNM institution. As the designated Research IT Liaison, she bridges the gap between complex technical infrastructure and the evolving operational needs of the university's research community.
