This group explores how different stakeholders conceptualize trust within the TAI socio-technical system to inform the development of a white paper. Their work includes conducting a qualitative analysis of existing notes and presentation materials from the TAI groups, identifying and categorizing stakeholders, and mapping the diverse definitions and dimensions of trust that emerge. By developing a “topographical map” of trust, showing how meanings vary across contexts and stakeholder group, the Reading Group provides a conceptual foundation and structured insights that directly shape the framing, arguments, and recommendations in the TAI white paper..

Grant Writing Group

This group, in collaboration with the Faculty Research Development Office, leads the development, coordination, and submission of grant proposals to support TAI interdisciplinary sub-group initiatives. Responsibilities include identifying relevant funding opportunities, organizing and drafting proposal narratives and budgets, coordinating input from interdisciplinary research teams and partners, ensuring compliance with sponsor and institutional guidelines, and managing timelines to meet all submission deadlines. The group also supports post-award reporting requirements in alignment with the Level II Grand Challenges program..

Communication and Outreach

This group coordinates internal communication with the TAI groups and the interdisciplinary research teams, as well as external communication with partners. They are responsible for scheduling meetings, distributing agendas, ensuring groups meet deadlines, maintaining the website, managing project timelines, and overseeing the completion of TAI milestones in alignment with the Level II Grand Challenges program requirements.
